About Us
Mezyana (pronounced Mez-yah-nah) meaning beautiful was started in 2008.
Co-owners Barbara Leaders and Moez Ali founded Mezyana as a way to showcase the beautiful high-quality and unique products from artisans in Morocco, Tunisia and India. They both travel to North Africa where they are dedicated to working directly with artisans to design products and ensure fair wages in a socially responsible working environment with no child labor.
